Waterborne pigment concentrate

Resin-free pigment concentrate based on titanium oxide white PW 6 and TEGO® Dispers 740 W

The water-based pigment concentrate based on KRONOS® 2310 achieved by this formulation is resin-free and can be used for tinting of a broad variety of water-based base paints and coatings. The colorant has a good cost effectiveness. It can be used for architectural paints as well as general industrial coatings. Pigment loading and additive dosage are developed for grinding purposes. Pigment loading and rheology might need to be adjusted for use in a dispenser.

Preparation

Prepare a premix from positions 1 - 6 and add while stirring.

Add component 7 while stirring.

Grind with appropriate equipment until stable color strength has been reached.

Adjust pH to 8.5.
